RAWANG: The Finance
Ministry has urged all Malaysians who have yet to register or appeal
against rejection of the Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia (BR1M) 2.0 to do so by
the end of next week.
Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Donald Lim
Siang Chai said the treasury would suspend its counters for receiving
new applications and appeals in the middle of this month, both for the
RM500 one-off household aid as well as RM250 individual financial
assistance.
"Thus, I urge all Malaysians not to miss the genuine aid given by the government and register as soon as possible.
"We are closing it within the stipulated timeframe as the treasury will have to concentrate on other issues,"

Lim said after the launch of a
book written by students, entitled Judge Us Not, here yesterday. BRIM
2.0 is a one-off RM500 cash aid for households with incomes not
exceeding RM3,000 a month.

More than 2,000 people cheered when Gombak parliamentary seat candidate Datuk Dr Rahman Ismail and Hulu Klang state candidate Rahim Kamarudin walked into the tent, accompanied by Yip.

Sekiranya kumpulan opportunist semacam ini disokong dalam parti MCA, kami yakin parti MCA sampai bila pun tidak bolih berkembang.
